Mr. Dering is another "startup veteran" with more than 10 years-experience building and shaping companies. Kevin has led new product introduction in the environmental and bio tech markets. He has led dramatic growth early-stage and mid-sized companies by unifying product and marketing strategies, along with implementing scalable marketing and sales processes. Kevin comes to Spark Fuel from another startup in the EV industry. He holds a BA from the University of Cincinnati and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
Karen provides leadership and management to the finance department, as well as financial strategy recommendations to the executive team. Her day includes overseeing all financial decisions, such as budgeting and planning, and ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Karen loves working in a challenging industry with a passionate and customer-oriented team. She’s a CPA and CGA with double majors in Finance and Accounting.
Trevor leads the development and rollout of the company’s growth strategy and works with his team to drive its vision and mission. He began his career as a captain in the United States Air Force, spent over a decade at GE Power and GE Oil & Gas, and was previously the president and CEO of a PE-backed upstream manufacturing company serving the energy sector.
